Why is it necessary to use Lägler Trio before oil and varnish?
Band and angle grinders leave micro-scratches on the wood. If we cover the floor with oil (especially tinted pigment) or glossy varnish, these scratches will be clearly visible. Trio's three rotating planetary discs move without direction and erase all traces — the surface becomes mirror-like.
How is Lägler Hummel better than the old Soviet dolura machines?
In old Dolura machines (eg СО-206) sandpaper is fixed with clamps. The joint creates an unevenness, and at every turn the dolura hits the wood, leaving the so-called "Waves". Hummel uses a continuous endless tape that removes old varnish and wood layers perfectly correctly, gently and without vibration.
